Voicemail indicator will not work

I do not get the enevolpe or my alert when I get a new voicemail. Anyone know how to slove?

    SOLUTION FOR NON-WORKING VOICEMAIL NOTIFICATION: Phone into your service provider as if you were initially setting up voice mail. Go to "ADMINISTRATIVE OPTIONS" and check to see if the setting for "incoming call alert/notice/hold" is on or off. You want that setting "ON". That should fix your problem.

How do you check your voicemail on a VTech cordless phone

The cordless phone pictured appears to be a VTech CS6114
and an Answering Machine System is not part of this phone.

** BUT ** an Answering Machine System is not the same
as "VoiceMail" anyway.

VoiceMail is an option offered by some (not all) telephone
service providers, and each of those who do offer the feature
employ specific procedures unique to themselves.

Check with your Telephone Service Provider to see if you
do have a VoiceMail service activated and how to go about
using it.

Per the CS6114 User Manual, the display indication shown,
"New VoiceMail", will be removed from the cordless phone
handset when you have accessed the providers' VoiceMail
system and played/cleared the messages.

If the alert display persists, it can be cleared from the handset
by the following (tested on my own cs6114 phone):

press [select]
scroll to "Clr voicemail"
press [select]
display reads "Reset VM Icon?"
press [select]
phone will (chirp)

Since changing to ACN, I get no blinking red light alerting me that we have a message.

Hi,

You can try reset your phone, Turn off the phone, remove the AC adapter, press and hold the page/call button that is on the phone and plug back your Ac adapter, see if this fix the problem.

That is for voicemail to email.
Copy, send a wav file as an attachment to email as well as leaving a copy in the phone

Forward, only send voicemail to email address.

Alert, only sends an email to say that you have voicemail, still need to access phone to get vociemail

Voicemail alert tones

I think that there is just a generic message alert tone setting applies for both vm and text. If your voicemail alert tone and message alert tones are the same, this is probably the case. I have searched the menu on my phone and haven't found any setting to change vm tone specifically.

False Voicemail Alert

this use to be an old virus that was going around it affeced tx msg as well by bombarding your phone with continuess msg contact your service provider and they can reset your voice mail for you they wont charge for this hope this is somr help if not you will have to change service provider but you can keep your same no but they should be able to sort this out over the phone so try calling them first
