Usb boot i cant boot

As soon starting of computer, press F1. You might be find options for boot up. Boot up is default from CD Drive. Change booting option to USB. Connect your USB. Restart the computer.

Enter the BIOS screen and go to Boot Order; if booting from USB port option is not enabled, then enable it. If there is no USB boot option you cannot boot from a USB drive on that computer.

Re-boot computer, press "F2" key to get to bios and adjust boot sequence to allow boot from usb.

Go to the BIOS setup and check the boot device order, if the USB device/port is not listed then the computer cannot boot up with an USB memory stick.
If the USB device/port is listed then move the USB to the top as the first boot device.

After powering on the NB30 laptop press F2 until it goes to setup page. At setup page press left or right arrow until cursor is in Boot page. In Boot page select the Boot device Priority then press enter to go to another page. Select USB HDD then press x to enable it. Then press F5 of F6 to bring the usb in No. 1 in the list. Press F10 to save and exit. Connect a bootable USB dongle and re-boot the laptop.

Is your BIOS set to boot from cd/dvd as first boot?

I'm sorry but the answer is no.

You only have floppy, hard drive and cd-rom options. With some Dell models the USB is seen as a secondary hard drive from within the BIOS so maybe (if your bios supports it) you can change boot order there.

Usually thats not the case so you mainly have to boot from the CD/DVD to install or run a DOS or linux command.

Familar with the bios?

Check that usb is enabled in bios and to boot to usb devices.

You may need an older keyboard or non usb keyboard to get you restarted.
