Question about DeLonghi EC460 Pump Espresso Maker Stainless Steel
We have had our Delonghi for only 5-6 months before we figured it was time to descale it (we live in AZ with very hard water). After the descaling, though, espressos would taste extremely acidic and borderline undrinkable even after 10+ rinsethroughs. We even tried to use household vinegar to rinse through the machine, and while that provided a less intense acidic taste, it still does not taste the same as it did before. does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this issue and get our machine to making high quality tasting espressos again?
we are encountering some connection problem that's teh reason why our converastion are always in cut.

I had this problem too. The instruction manual says to turn the steam knob only half way counter-clockwise after pressing the button for 5 seconds, but you need to turn it ALL the way to have the procedure start (at least, that was the solution with my machine). Good luck!
