Xbox Hi I have an xbox and it doesn,t work anymore. When I turn it on The power light goes green for a second and then it flashes red. There is no video output?? any Ideas??

I wouldn't recommend messing with it. The power supply is defective, and messing with a power supply is very dangerous. get a new power supply, just make sure that it is compatible with your xbox(there are 3 different versions of xbox power supplies out there)

You have the red ring of death. You can call microsoft at 1-800-4-MYXBOX to get it serviced. I hope this helps!

Three red lights on the ring of light is an indication of a hardware failure

Here are things to try:

1. Turn off the xbox 360, disconnect the cables wait for 20 seconds reconnect the cables and turn it back on.

2. Check the light on the power supply ( The big brick that goes to your wall )
If the light is green that means the power supply is OK
If the light is Red that means the power supply needs to be replaced

3. If above steps doesn't work, you need to contact xbox customer support to get your xbox repaired
and shipping and handling will be covered.
