I am using a Konica Minolta Bizhub C280 and am having trouble getting it to successfully use two different letterheads in trays 3 and 4. Printing to Tray 3 works successfully, but when printing to Tray 4 the printer refuses to print until someone has gone to it and told it which tray to use. I have repeatedly checked all settings on the printer, server and local print drivers and cannot find any discrepancies. Does anyone know if this can be done and what setting I need to be tweaking in order for it to work?
Set one draw to letter head set the other to special that way each draw is different. just make sure the paper weight is correct for each paper.

You have Auto Tray Switching acticated (ATS). Unless you specify each tray/paper with different settings it will switch.
Go in to the utility menu and you can find this in the paper tray settings area I believe.
You can turn this off completely to avoid this in the future.
If you look around you can even just tweak the settings for this, but in your case i would just shut it off.

Verify your settings under the Paper Menu are correct as far as size and type. All trays with same size and type settings are automatically linked as per the User Guide.

From the start menue to printers and faxes go to your printer right click and select properties label the 4 drawers as to paper type and select continue, or auto continue to off.

I have the same problem Peter with my Phaser 8560. Xerox Tech Support has been no help. I've even updated the firmware on the printer and it still won't print to the right tray, even though I have everything setup right on both the client side computer and within the printer itself.
