the red, yellow,white cables connect them to both of the dvd players.One of them the little switch on the side put one on dvd and the other one on av in. then put a dvd in one and play it. (make sure both are on)

You can sometimes find discs on the internet for failry cheap that changes the region of the disc before the disc loads. So you might try and find a "region changer disc" on the net.
Otherwise, lots of times, once a players region has been changed more than once or twice it will not allow another.
If you have already changed it back to region 2 and it is still not working, you might have a bad dvd player now.
