You've done ipconfig. Go ahead and do ipconfig\release then ipconfig\renew. If you haven't done that I hope it helps.

My Linksys wrt300n wireless N router is slow

You have WRT300N router. If it is very old model then upgrade the firmware of the router. and try changing the wireless channel on the router.
Firmware is the software of the router.
Download the latest firmware of the router. Go to the manufacturer's web site and download the firmware of the router.
Open the set up page of the router and upgrade the firmware of the router. Once you upgrade the firmware of the router, reset the router.
On the router you will find a small reset button, hold it down for 30 seconds. release it. wait for 1 minute. Now unplug the power to the router and plug it back in.
Now you will need to reconfigure the router according to the Internet service provider.

Frimware Upgrade

Apparently not, but I'm guessing you already knew that.
http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WRT54G/download

Look carefully at the label and the firmware installed in your router. The 1.02.5 is listed for 5 and 6 only and version 8 is for 8 only. There is no 7 listed, so it was either a special run or there is just no firmware upgrade for it yet. It must have been perfect :-)

We have a PC as well as a laptop running on a Linksys router model#BEFW1154 Ver 4 both Windows XP all working fine. We are trying to connect another PC using the wireless B router model#WUSB11 ver 2.8 that...

The 2 different operating systems can run off the same router. Also check to see which type of security you are using I would suggest WPA2 if you do not see that listed you will need a firmware update.

Want to upgrade firmware version 9.1.52

MP3 XINTAI Firmware. Please pass it to the other repliers at the forum, or anyone who needs it.

Hi pals.

At last!, I've backed-up the firmware for Xintai MP3 Player from Wilson Co. Ltd., and put it here:

http://www.paginasprodigy.com.mx/darkwing/Xintai9152_Wilson.zip

Don't worry cause one of the files (at UI30.RES) has an incorrect checksum. It's due to prior edit on ASCII labels.

I couldn't say it is really the firmware you want, so you must check and verify thoroughly before proceed.

Please note:
1.- Do not update or reload firmware if your player is working fine (more or less).
2.- If this firmware is not EXACTLY the same version, for the same chipset, there's no guarantee. The player could not work or, even worst, could suffer defintive damage.
3.- It's highly recommendable you BACKUP the existent firmware, despite damage suspects.
4.- To backup and/or restore firmware for this player, you can use "S1res" Ver 4.1, downloadable at:

http://www.s1mp3.de/tools.s1res.html

For restoring firmware, you can also use the "Player Upgrade Tool" Ver 4.18 or superior (part of "MP3 Player Utilities"), downloadable at:

http://www.mympxplayer.org

Enjoy your music.

Problems with connecting to internet with Linksys WRT300N

Hi Beluis,

Go to Start>Run, type in CMD. In the black box that opens, type in IPCONFIG /ALL. Look at your IP, Gateway, and DNS settings.
IP should be 192.168.1.xxx, Gateway IIP should be 192.168.1.1
DNS should have numbers, but they may vary. If they are not in those parameters, you won't be able to access the router. Let us know if these are right.
The router wiill give you an IP, and Gateway, with no DNS, and that will stop your from accessing the internet.
Shut down that modem, router, and your PC, Make sure your ethernet cable goes from your modem to the WAN, (not LAN!) port. Power up the modem, wait a full 2 min, power up the router, wait a full 2 min, and start up your PC. Try the IPCONFIG again.

Good Luck.
