Re: Service Manual for HP OfficeJet 7410
If you are getting a error message "Carriage Jam" than unplug the power cord, and than press Poun and Number 6 Keys together on the keypab of the printer. While these keys are pressed and hold, than at the same time plugged in the power cord and dont release the two buttons.
After say 30 second you will get a new message on the screen of the printer.
All of the above steps actually reset the printer. I hope this will work.
You will find that getting a service manual for officejet and other consumer machines difficult if not impossible. This is very frustrating because there low cost makes it impossible to service properly.

You have a problem with your scanner, you should try reinstalling the drivers on your device, and also check on your manual if there is a prerequisite requirement regarding your scanner, in order for it to work properly.
Well you wont find this info anywhere...HP doesnt give it out to anyone but authorized repair centers...
I dont think you know what that board costs....it may be cheaper to get a new printer...you probably cant get the board with out having a repair center do it anyway
I looked through the manual and on page 112 it lists the characters available. It seems the $ symbol isn't available, so you can't enter it. You can download a copy from HP here if you've misplaced your copy. The manual makes mention of an on-screen keyboard you can pick from. Maybe the symbol is there. I don't have one of these, so I can't check it for myself.
Go to www.hp.co.uk or .com and into the support and downloads section. You can download any appropriate drivers from here and on the left hand side menu, you can download a manual as well.
Let me know how you get on
