Hi,
Can you help us?
We have an LG RZ50PX4D 50? PLASMA TV that changes to pink when we use the HDMI socket.
Any ideas what may be causing this?
The TV is under 18months old.
Thanks
Janco

What type of connections are you using? HDMI? Component? Composite? What audio? HDMI? Optical Digital? Analog audio?
Are you saying you get video from the PS3, but it is in Black&White only? Is there an NTSC/PAL selector on the PS3? If so, it may be set wrong. Set to NTSC if you're in the United States.
That issue is with one or more of the board that drive the plasma screen. If you have a warranty, you will want to call LG for a free repair.
Sorry, but to trouble shoot that issue would require some TV tools and knowledge of electronics. There are several boards involved with processing the picture image to the plasma screen. I hope this information has helped you. Good Luck.
I have seen several LG plasma that have a pink picture and everytime it has been a failed control pwb. This bd is located under the assembly that houses the main digital bd. The main dig. bd is the one with all of the inputs.
I had a similar issue, try adjusting the advanced settings on the DVD player.....I can't recall which settings it should be on, but when I adjusted them on my upconverting DVD player everything worked fine after.
