Question about Ricoh IS 330DC Flatbed Scanner

Adobe interface issues

Our Ricoh IS330DC is not scanning as clearly as we know it can. When using Windows and direct scanning the image is very clear but when using the Adobe interface and the Ricoh interface respectivly to scan documents into our database the images come out blurry and with jagged lines. There is nothing wrong with the scanner, computer or documents, save that the setting may not be optimal. Help?

    We upgraded from Adobe 5 to Adobe Professional 8 and now our scans on the Ricoh IS330DC have areas that are blurry. Adobe 5 didn't have this problem. We updated the Twain drivers, no help. Swapped out scanners and a newer IS330DC does the same thing. Uninstalled Adobe Professional 8 and installed Adobe Professional 7, same problem. Printing the document looks fine. Scans using a Fujutsu scanner also are blurry. Looks like an Adobe issue.

We have also seen that Adobe Acrobat doesn't produce very clear scans (with a range of scanners). Adobe gives very good pdf file size but it downsamples images.

Cannot print scroll down e mail images from computer

this could be 2 issues in one:

First scan your computer for viruses and use matinance software for any software issues you may have in your harddrive.

After all is clear and there are no hicups or viruses on your pc, reinstall all Adobe flash and shockwave software.

Next update or reinstall your original printer drivers for your manufactures website.

This should correct all issues of printing scroll down email images

if this does not work write me back ok?

I can´t find the option to scan something. In the menu is no button to scan. Can you help me an tell me how I can scann?

1. you may use adobe photoshop to scan images..
2. on the menu, just click import then select the model of your scanner.
it will automatically open the scanning software if not, the default windows imaging software

Hi,
press the yellow clear key, press 1 07, then hold the "Stop" key for 10 second, LCD screen change, enter in to copier SP, under tab 5 scrool the page till you see delivery server.

Scanner Service

Have you tried uninstalling the scanner and reinstalling it? Do you have the original software for it. If you do not then you should be abe to obtain a driver download at this site:

If you need to download the driver, be sure to do a clean download which means you need to turn off the scanner and unplug it,to turn off all running programs to do this including virus control. Download the file and save it to your desktop then click on it to install. Restart your computer.
