Request for solution to repair two 60"Zenith HDTV's PN- P60W26P
I am searching for a solution(s) to repair two 60"Zenith HDTV's (PN- P60W26P) that will not "power on". There is "no display". One of the two models was pixelated on the left side of the display for some time before it completely died. I am not the actual owner of these units, but work for a company that is under contract to fix them. Any suggestions/solutions you have would be greatly appreciated.

I have a unit with the same problem. I spoke to LG Tech support. For this model, there are 2 supply voltages that you need to check off the power supply. You need to make sure that you have VS and VA voltages. I believe they are 75v and 180v. If you do not have this, it could be a power supply problem. If you have those then it is either a Zsus or Ysus problem. The easist way to check is to see if the fuses are blown on the board that distributes the power out to those 2 boards. I am looking for a p60w26 with a cracked panle if anyone is interested. I live in southern california and e-mail is [email protected]

Your blue LCD panel is failing. It is within the Optical Block and the entire block must be replaced in order to repair this. Over time (usually a short amount of time) this problem while progress until the picture is bad enough that you will want it fix immediately. So, it's good that you are looking into this now :) Here is a PN for the Optical Block... PN: A-1084-668-A I hope this helps.
Go to the Zenith repair site. This has been resolved in a lawsuit. Zenith will fix it free of charge through 7/1/2010. The shop just picked my up to replace the light engine free of charge. Call 1-800-228-1757, have your model number and serial number, and where you purchased it. Here's the neat thing-the question I asked is "have they fixed the problem with the light engine, or is it going to keep going bad?" If happens again (blue lines/spots) before 7/1/2010, they'll replace the TV with a new and different TV of equal value!
