Well maybe your sim has been cancelled or blocked or even out of date , thats what hapened to mine ( one of them lol ) so you can order free sim cards of all kinds on the internet i suggest you do that 1st and then your network should be fully functioning , after that try reset your factory settings which can be accessed via the settings icon , then select restore factory settings the code should be 1234 or 12345 , that should fix your date problem , and for your charging problem try a new battery becoz if your battery was removed and then when u put it back in it doesnt charge then there must be a fault with your battery , hope i helped :D

WONT HOLD DATE/TIME, KEEPS REQUESTING TO RESET!

Hi there, been playing around trying to get camera going,as i took apart (easy enough, if you can handle a watch repair screwdriver) what i did find seems to be a standard watch battery located bottom left next to speaker. Pretty sure if you replace this, it should solve your problem. Just be carefull when taking out ribbon cable!

Cheers Greg.

Wharfedale DECT TAM telephone/answer machine is flashing CL on the main answer machine base unit. This message is not indicated in the user manual can you please advise? Many Thanks Steven Clifford

This is due to the base unit losing power and needs the clock resetting.
The handsets retain their clocks under battery power so this is a little misleading.

To reset the base unit clock:
- press the OK key
- press the 'down' arrow twice until "DATE/TIME" is displayed.
- press the OK key again, this will display the year. Enter the correct year on the handset numeric keypad and then press OK. (Only the last two digits of the year need to be entered).
- The date is then displayed in MM/YY format, enter the correct date on the handset numeric keypad and then press OK.
- The time is then displayed, enter rhe correct time on the handset numeric keypad and press OK.
- The handset then beeps and displays "SAVED".
- Press the "C" button and replace the handset on the base unit.

The base unit should now stop flashing "CL".

Blackberry Pearl, JVM Error 547

IF YOU HAVE A COMPANY PHONE - CALL TECH SUPPORT
IF ITS A PERSONAL PHONE CALL YOUR PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER ask if there is any special version of software you have to use.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
try a hard reset (take the battery out wait 2 mins then put it back in) if that doesnt work...

BEFORE ANYTHING !!!! use the desktop software to backup your data (because you will be erasing ALL DATE on the device) on the BB (if you can) and save the file to the desktop. next go to https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=577BCC914F9E55D5E4E4F82F9F00E7D4you need to download (use pull down menu)blackberry desktop software 4.6 and the blackberry devicesoftware (FOR YOUR MODEL PHONE) install the desktop software first thenthe device software.. this can take maybe an hour (not including thedownload time) once your done use your desktop software to restore yourdata
