SOURCE: How do I remove the cover from the Viewsonic

I was equally frustrated by this, but eventually figured it out. There are two finger-sized slots on the bottom of the panel covering the monitor's connections. Push them in (towards the top of the monitor) and lift the cover away from the back of the monitor.

Good luck,
-Brad

SOURCE: I want to clean the filters on my Baumatic

The metal filters can be cleaned with ANY good degreaser. The carbon filters need to be replaced. Parts are available from the manufacturer or an appliance repair shop that handles your brand.

SOURCE: We are about to get

It's better to get a 900 mm wide one simply because it will have to run at a lower speed to get the same suction effect. And imagine that you will have even the slightest air current in there - the fumes will be blow away from the hood a lot easier on the 700mm one.

Hotpoint condensing dryer model TCFS93BGP. cleanfilter/empty water light keeps coming on after 3/4 minutes

Hi, my dryer has 3 things to check out of which one is more hidden:
- empty the water reservoir
- clean filter in the door
- clean condensor which is hidden below the bottom panel which has to be released through a button behind the door

The last one is less obvious and more difficult to find/reach. Might need to consult the manual.

Did you check all 3?

Hope this helps

How do i open air conditioner to clean filters

A wall unit, split system can be tricky to get. Some filters slip out, some are behind a cover held in by screws, others the complete plastic needs be removed. The filter would be in the section where the air enters the air con.
Other units have the filter behind the return air grill, others a door needs be removed to access the filter rack

Where are the circuit breakers

Look behind all cupboard doors higher and lower. Also look for a brown plastic cover in face of cupboards as well. Usually closer to where power cord enters from outside.

Hi, I am installing a DHI645KAU I think it is. It is an under the cupboard slide our 60cm range anyway. It is going into a new kitchen. The electrician said I had to cut the lead off and run a line back to...

A domestic rangehood simply gets its supply from a power point in the cupboard above. A commercial rangehood would be on a designated circuit. The same wiring code covers Australia and NZ. Ignore him.

What does Fault code F-05 mean

Drain machine by running the outlet pipe into a bucket at floor level or run the outlet pipe out of the back door if it'll reach. Check the filter unit for blockages. Filter generally located behind a panel at the foot of the machine. Some are obvious like little square hatches and some are hidden behind the trim panel at the foot of the machine. Once panel is removed the filter should be visible. Its generally a circular plastic fitting which unscrews in an anticlockwise direction. Some hotpoint, indesit and ariston filters are located in the big black sump hose (the one that leaves the bottom of the outer drum and connects to the pump). Remove the back cover, locate hose, remove the tensioner clip by squeezing the tabs together with a set of heavy pliers or vise grips, remove the hose, take out filter and clean. Be prepared for spillage of water. May help if the machine is tilted backwards at an angle.
If problem persists, check pump and pump hose. Pump removal: power off, drag machine out onto the floor, remove back cover or tip machine up at an angle, locate pump, (attached to other end of drain pipe).undo 2 wiring connections, 2 hose connections, and pump mounting screws. Remove pump chamber - some are held in with screws, others clip into place. Check for foreign objects round the impeller. If pump chamber is clear, may be a fault with the pump motor - in which case, replace the pump.

Rangehood malfunction

My Baumatic Rangehood model BAISL92.2 had the letter A flashing. I was advised by a repairman that it indicated the filters needed to be cleaned with warm soapy water. Apparently in my particular model there is a built in 30 hour timer for when the filters need to be cleaned. To remove the flashing letter A, I was advised to clean the filters, turn off the rangehood and while it was off, press the (-) (minus) button and hold for 5 seconds. It beeped and the flashing letter A was removed. This worked for my particular model - I couldn't guarantee it would be the solution for your model. I hope this is some help.
