Bad color 51" projection philips hdtv

Could it be blue glow/ blue focus. Probably blue CRT. Put color to min. in menu and is yellowish or bluish where it should be black parts of pic?

I would say the crt's are at the end of their life.

Inside of your TV their is a fluid that keeps the tubes cool. Over the years this fluid will turn cloudy and cuase the screen to look dull, bright white, have halos, etc. You can get the fluid over the internet from various sources or your can get a complete kit including repair instructions from www.TvRepairKits.com.

sounds like the Convergence ICs are getting ready to go. Does it appear as a outline almost 3D? If so its convergence if its more like a glowing halo its coolant in the blue CRT that needs changing.
