I have this camera for 2 weeks, used for work and then the screen is black with some white lines (difficult to see) I sent it to Sony for guarantee and they said I wet it, and main board is wet, but no other part is wet.
I'm sure that I did not wet it, but it is possible that only the main board is wet an no other part, if a liquid was in contact with camera? Any suggestion to said to Sony?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I have a touch screen digital camera, had it for approx 10 months when a white line appeared on the screen the 2 now there are 4, i sent it back to sony who said i must have "dropped" it and i know for a fact i never ever dropped it and no one ever had it only me, they now want €240 from me to fix it, i dont think this is fair as i know i didnt drop it, any help or advice would be greatly appreciatedHi there

Re:
If Sonty say it is wet damaged and you are sure you did not get it wet
You could say to Sony that it could only have got wet after you sent it to them.

Mystery cameras are always a problem, but this looks like the Sony camera question I just answered a few minutes ago.
You need to connect it to a computer and then you can take off everything that is on the camera and take the camera to a Sony Service Centre for repair. Download the Software and Drivers.
i have the same problem here. i sat down on my camera Doh! It need a new LCD screen, for sur, and i have a line whit a black/purple spot on the LCD. I open my camera and i separate the screen from the other part (white light) and i search instruction to continue the repairing, i can send photos of what it's look like, well im searching further instruction to replace the LCD screen.
