I have a Dell Demension 3000 and I just bought a used matching Dell 19" LCD Flat Panel. What would be the best way to connect both LCD's with out spending much? The both have the same (vga) connectors and the computer has one (vga) port.
Well theres 3 ways u can get another video card, a $5 vga splitter off ebay or somewhere, or u can buy a motherboard that has 2 vga ports
I believe you will have to have a DVI-to-VGA adapter for the second monitor to work on that card. It may come with one, my ATI Radeon did, but you might want to ask just in case.
Also once you have it installed you can disable the onboard video (if that's what you are currently using). If so you should see a bit of increase in speed...kinda depends on what your running but every little bit helps:)
Add an expansion PCI video card like this one:

And use the 2 connections on the expansion card.
I believe you need another VGA interface card to be installed on your computer.
