Using Windows media player 11, I am able to stream music to my console, but cannot view pictures from the PC. I am using XP sp2. The message I receive is 'no pictures found'. It is the same when I plug a USB stick into the console. Many thanks in advance. Steverton.
Did you have the same problem with Media Player 10/Media Connect or is this the first time you've tried it? Given that you have the same problem with pictures stored on a USB storage device this may well suggest that you are using an unsupported file format, how are your pictures saved? Try converting or re-saving your pictures, you can find a list of supported formats in your Xbox 360 user guide but JPEG (.jpg) is usually a safe choice.

Thanks for the advice nliwilson. My pictures are in the .jpg format. I decided to try it on my other pc and managed just fine. So I put it down to the WMP11 on my first pc, because I do keep having problems with that media player. For example, if I play music through WMP11, after about 5 minutes the program shuts down. I have tried to re-install, or roll back to WMP10, then re-install but to no avail.
So thanks for trying, it must be an issue with pc1 and WMP11.
