This morning I turned on the TV and after about 5 minutes I heard a cracking sound and the screen turned blue with white lines on all channels. What does the blue screen and lines mean? I did check another TV and the cable system is working. I also turned the TV off and still the same. Also this is after a recent move from Las Vegas, NV to Albuquerque, NM. Do you think the move had something to do with it? All my property had been stored for one week in over 100 degree tempatures. Thank you for your time.
I think you had an arc in the high voltage circuit which zapped the blue drive circuit to the picture tube. This could have been caused by the high temperatures the your set was subjected to. Stargazer
