Question about RCA HDLP50W151 50" Rear Projection HDTV
High pitch buzzing occurs after tv has been on for an hour or so. Noise periodically happens for about 3-4 seconds and then stops. It happens every 20-30 seconds or so. Then sometimes I can cut my tv on and I never hear the buzzing noise when watching it. Noise was not heard until now. Purchase tv about 1 year ago and noise was not there. This is the only problem I get. Picture is fine.
I have a very high pitched sound and when I move the tv it will stop for a second or two and then start again. The sound sometimes stops all together. But very high pitch sound.

The problem is the dust that has hit the fans. The light and color wheel. In short DLP runs hot and if you have dust forget it! if you have ever sat in a presentation the projector is DLP. You can try to clean it out but there is not much you can do. I have a 61 inch RCA and it drives me nuts.

Have you moved the TV or installed any equipment in your house, or started using an Air Conditioner, fluoro light etc?

The tv is near my stereo that is used as my surround sound system for it
I have the same problem humming and buzzing noise, every time when i turn on my tv. I brought this tv a little over a year. Don't know what to do?? Please help?????
Wicked loud humming just started the unit is mybe 4 years old and I can't get rid of humming
High pitch sound coming from the T.V.; I have a surge protector and didn't installed anything new to the house. All of a sudden this sound pop-up.
I think the humming sound is coming from interference with something electrical around your tv or in your home. Try moving your tv somewhere different in the room and try to keep other electical items away from it.
I have this problem but it isn't high pitched, just loud enough to bother me and I know it is there. It doesn't happen all the time and the tv doesn't even need to be on, only plugged in. I have it on a power strip and turn it off when not in use. This started shortly after I had my cable installed. I don't have a convertor box, so nothing new electronically has been added.
My "RCA HDLP50W is making a noise like a high voltage leak to ground somewhere in the set's right rear when seen from the screen side.
