Usually it "Blows" the primary winding of the step down transformer and often does nothing else, if ya lucky, so try replacing the transformer, sometimes it can also, as well blow the Bridge Rectifier OR rectifier Diodes, on the secondry side. I havent seen schematics have you Goggled for them?

How to fix after putting in 220v to110v

You don't say what country you are from or your stated home voltage . In Australia we have 240 volts as standard . connect a 110volt system to that and you will just fry it unless it is a dual voltage system. Best bet talk to a repair center .

Is it good for 220 v electricity, or only to 110 v ?

hi
does it allow you to switch from 110v to 220v ? if it does then you got to switch it according to the power supply from the plug point that you are going to plug it into. Do NOT switch it to 110v and plug it into a 220v plug point .
if it is only 110v and not switchable then you got to use the only 110v

How to wire it from 110v to 220v...

Most pumps have the eiting diagam on the outer motor housing. What brand is the pump? Some motors have a jumper that is moved over to 220v or 110v post and the red/black(220) or white/black(110) stay on the regular screw terminals. Ground stays on the same terminal usually a green screw

Can I plug GE dryer GTDP250EMWW directly to 220v? the manual says that the power rating of this model is 110/220v.

If the dryer is electric and bought in the United States then you can plug it in. The 110/220 power rating basically means that some parts if the dryer use 110v. All 220v is is 2 110v independent circuits sharing the same common ground.

I accidentally plugged in epson nx110 to 110v when i shoudl have plugged it in 220v , burnt smell and no power at all

Not sure why it burnt going from 240 down to 110volts. The unit should not have worked. However, if it is a 110 volt machine and you plugged it into 240 volts... different story... At best you have blown the power supply board or board fuse.. At worst, the machine will be fried inside.

A friend from US gave me hp netbook-1103135- is it 110 or 220v please advise thanks

It most likely has a 110V plug on the power supply; however, all you have to do is buy the appropriate 220v cable for the power supply for your country, and it should work fine on 220V.
External power supplies are designed to use either 110v or 220v -- all you have to do is change the cable or use an adapter and you're good to go.

WA71N2 plugged to 220V should be 110V

The Fuse for these model is 110V - 250V, so definitely the machine will still light up for a moment then black out. So if you accidentally plugged it to 220V (if it is 110V) you have to change the whole PCB. Electric current are distributed by PCB which only handles 110V.

I suggest when you change the PCB try to change also the Fuse to 110V only so that next time if by accident it was plugged to 220V you just have to change the Fuse not the PCB.

Accidentally plugged the 110V to a 220V

Hi,
you,ll have blown the PSU.
there maybe an internal fuse, located in the PSU. but if smoke was bellowing out, i,d say it went straight past the fuse.
New PSUs the best bet.
