Question about Plantronics Explorer 340 Wireless Headset

I can't seem to get my new Bluetooth explorer 340 to even start charging. I have been told to plug charger into headset for 30 seconds,then take it out, and repeat the process 5 to 15 times. It still does not help. What else can I try?

I had to insert the charger plug very hard to start charging. Push it firmly till you hear a "clic" once you hear the clic, wait for a moment (you only need to do this the first time)

My 340 headset will not turn on

Try these steps from the user guide and then pair up your headset to the phone. "Before using, you must first charge your headset. 20 minutes = minimum charge. 2 hours = full charge. Light is solid red when battery is charging. Press the control button for 2 seconds to power on. Press the control button for 3 seconds to power off." If you're still having problems, then it's time to get a new one, sorry.

The Plantronics Explorer 232 headset is an older model, it may just be worn out. The Plantronics M20 would be a good replacement to look at, here is the link:

I have brand new jabra stone And when I put it on charge, everytimr I have unplug the charger from ac outlet and then the red charging light starts charging but after few seconds it automatically goes off

just leave it its charging even when light out

I have a H270 Bluetooth headset. I charged it

I had the same problem. I plugged a USB charger into the headset and turned the power switch off. It worked as normal after that. I think it does not like to be "on" when the USB is disconnected. Anyway it seems the plugging/unplugging kick-started it.

Motorola s9 headset not charging

I had the same problem but instead of a red light it would flash green twice and stay off. I could not find the original charger and another plug in charger would not work. I plugged it into my computer with a usb cable and after several seconds it started charging.

New - but will not charge up (no light on earpiece).

probably the wire from the charger is bad. Try to replace the charger

Problem with Plaintronics 340 Explorer

Not sure if Jabra bluetooth headset or charger that not working

I had the same problem, called support, they told me battery is defective or too old and doesn't accept the charge. Battery in a headset is hardwired and can't be replaced, so the whole thing is trash :(

I have the 8xx plantronics bluetooth for my cellphone with earbud. I left it on the charger for two days and now it is not working. Won't turn on anymore. When I plug it into the charger, the red light comes on and begins blinking. Will not stay on steadily. When I disconnet and try to use it, it still will not turn on and my cell will not recognize it. It was working perfectly before. Help!
