Live Loop I just got my 360 about a week ago, I finally set it up with my account and everything, but when i tryed signed into XBOX live, it said i had important message from XBOX Live and i had to go to Account management. But when i get there it starts the game up all over again. So basically i can't sign into XBOX Live.

The majority of people don't use unique passwords for everything they sign up for. Try out any passwords you can remember using for anything and see if they work.

You sign into your Gamertag using the linked Windows Live account. If you can't remember the password, you could always try resetting it. To reset the password for your Windows Live account (and by extension, your Gamertag password) you should go through the password reset process on a Windows Live website (such as Hotmail), found here.

this also happens when you recover you gamer tag too many times, its a safety thing, go to live.com sign in an you will have a message follow the steps to re activate your account, sill i know but it worked for me...

Managing Xbox LIVE Activity
Xbox LIVE Controls come into play only when you take Xbox 360 online, and they're linked to a child's profile and gamertag. When an Xbox LIVE account is created, the service asks for the member’s age to determine whether to apply Family Settings to that account.
Parents are also required to create or use an existing Windows Live ID. The Windows Live ID is associated with the child’s Xbox LIVE account and protects the settings from being changed later by the child. To change a child’s settings, first select the child’s account name and connect to Xbox LIVE. Once signed in, enter your Windows Live ID password to unlock the settings.
To see these controls, go to My Xbox, open System Settings, then selectFamily Settings, Xbox LIVE Controls.

Xbox live sign out after 5 seconds

Call Xbox Live and make sure your account is still active. The card on the account to renew your membership could have expired!

Keep checking back so see when Xbox live is online and working. Then at that time quickly sign up. It worked for me and i'm on it right now! Good luck everyone!
