Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
I have the above model tv and in the last three weeks this tv turns off by itself. I wait a few minutes and i turn it back on and it shuts off.I have unplugged the tv and let it reset and this does not fix the problem. Any sugestions
The problem is most likely the fuse connected to the power wires. You have to take apart the TV and follow the power wire to the fuse. Fuse number is T4AL/ 250v. It will be labeled above the fuse. We had the same problem. Also, check to see if the metal around the tops and bottoms of fuse are loose.
The way we fixed it was to wrap aluminum foil around the fuse and put it back in. It is only a temporary fix until we can get a fuse. Hope this helps.

It sounds like there is something not good soldered,
that could be the reason that it looses contact.

I started to have the same problem just this week. I have had the TV for just over one year. If anyone has a solution or if this is a common problem please let me know so I can bring this up with the appropriate person at Best Buy.
same problem
I have an NS-LCDTV. I complained to Best Buy consumer department and they said (or lied) that they never heard of this problem of it turning itself off and it not turning back on and the lousy repair turn around time (17 days). Also called the Insignia toll free number and they thought my problem was unique. I even emailed my complaint to Best Buy corporate and still didn't get anywhere. I only wish I did some investigation on the Insginia products before I purchased. I'll never buy another t.v. from Best Buy again.
same problem
this problem only happens when other appliances are turned on inside the house
