Hi, my daughter recently gave my son her old phone (Samsung X830) on PAYG. He had it for a few days and then all of a sudden, when anybody tries to ring him, we get this message "it has not been possible to connect your call, please try again later". We have tried inserting new SIMS (the phone is on O2) but same problem.
Going through the manual, it looked as though maybe incoming call barring was on, but when I look into the settings, it doesn't look as though it is. If I try to change any settings, it is asking me for a password, although my daughter never had a password. I have tried 1234, 4321, 0000, to no avail.
He loves the phone and is devastated that it looks like he won't be able to use it.
Please help!!
Thank you
Carol
Type this code in try *2767*3855# this will reset the software but backup you photos/vids etc before hand, if this doesn`t do anything then the phone is blocked its a paperweight...

Hi, I had that problem before and I found out it was because my bill was past due. Did you pay your bill yet?
If not, pay it because in a few days you won't even be able to call out. They give you a few days with the phone to make the outgoing calls then they disconnect everything all together.
you mght have to ring the phone company and pay a little extra, thsi is the main way and have never heard any other way of doing it, unless theres a new trick, if there is let me know. thankx
look for a key or button which has a circle with a dot in the middle of it this is the power button
hold it down until you get a response.
Oh make sure the phone is charged first.
Hi, thanks for trying anyway, but it didn't work.
If the phone is blocked now, what do you suggest.
Thanks, Carol.
