Hello. One question has your range burner jets been changed to LP (liquid propane). If you are using natural gas jets for the burners and ovens this make the heat and flam fluctuate in temperature and the same for the oven. Natural gas jets are larger. One more thing here! There is a control valve spring with cap in the stove gas regulator that has to be taken out and turn around.


Search the operation manual on how to changes jets from natural gas to LP. In back of the stove behind one of the panels is a small cloth bag contain these LP jest and also there should be set of instruction in a bunch of languages.



If you are going to do this yourself--- DIY. Read those instruction ever carefully. There a bass ball valve that hook to the gas line before the flex stainless line behind you stove. Turn the nob to where it perpendicular to the gas line. Open the windows in the house and turn off all electric equipment such as, fans, toasters, don't be clicking the light switches off and on. Just a precaution for you and your family safety.



Check with your city zoning ordnance about home owner changing their gas jets in the range. Some cities and states won't allow you to due this. Then you will need a technician to preform this operation. I wish you and family well being and you safety first... GB you...stewbison

If you like the stove and it in good shape otherwise, have it fixed. The parts are still available. The stove in good used condition (without leak) is probably worth $75.00. May cost that much to repair it. Will cost approximately $450.00 to replace it with equal range. If it's a standing pilot model (no electricity needed) they are unavailable and your new range will require power to use the oven. Hope this helps.

should be able to change orifices to propane. some ranges offer these on the back of the stove or you can buy them at a local parts dealer. take your model # with u when you research a part

if this is a new stove need to change the pin in the regulator ,
then need to replace the stove top orifices from gas to l.p.
check under the stove for pieces they tape them under there by the regulator -- that how i found mine under my new jenn air
check the stove companies web site for a users manual also

If this is a newer range, the instructions to recalibrate should be in the manual that came with the stove

Hi thanks for the question. the problem you are having is with the igniter. it does not get hot enough to work at 100 % . replace the igniter. thanks te appliance doc

try the gas valve behind the storage drawer. it may be closed. that was my problem.

i don't think that model has a pilot try the oven and see i think its electronic ignition
