Question about HP PSC 1210 All-In-One InkJet Printer
When I try to print an erro message appears stating out of paper. I have removed the back and cleaned the rollers with a slightly damp cloth whilst rotating them. The rollers click when turned. I have tried to print but no luck.
Try removing the paper and replacing it with a heavier paper > pull out the 20# copy paper and replace it with 24# bond or 60# offset. ( The 24# and 60# are the same weight just different finishes on the surface ). Assuming your paper tray is one that slides in and out, close they tray firmly. Turn the printer off, wait 10 seconds then turn it back on. If the problem is still there, look VERY closely at the edges of the feed tray / compartment. There will be a very thin wire that the paper will depress when it is loaded into the feeder. If that wire gets bent the paper may not reach it to depress it. The printer does not sense any paper if this happens. Bend the wire outward so the paper can depress the sensor switch. Hope this helps.
