One day i connected my ipod to my computer to sync it, after i connected it a white screen appeared on the ipod telling me to use itune to reset my ipod. meanwhile my ipod did not seem to appear on the itune. i disconnected my ipod from the computer and then reconnected it but now my ipod wouldent turn on or show up on the computer at all. when i tried holding the center and menu button for 6 sec while the ipod is connected it shows on the itune this message saying that itune needs to prepare ipod for recovery. after i press continue i see a load bar which fully loads and then nothing happens at all......i waited for a long time and tried it a few times...PLZ HELP

Im afraid this means your ipod hard drive is scdrewed, but no need to worry as it is not extremely expensive. a new hard drive is available from the apple store and easy enough to put in yourself, so relatively inexpensive at about $20-$60 (aud)
