When i go to turn on my system all the other speakers work but the led light is blinking off and on, on my phoenix gold xenon-600.1 amp and my subs wont work i have checked all the connections to the amp from the head unit and wires all the way to the battery i checked the fuse and its in working condition, if its over heating i dont know why because i have a seperate fan blowing on the amp as soon as the car is turned on and the amp i have easily pushes the subs i am currently using.
I have a similar problem so i did disconnect the amp for a full day but when i re connected it the led still flashed, and the amp is still stuck in protect mode.I have a similar problem so i did disconnect the amp for a full day but when i re connected it the led still flashed, and the amp is still stuck in protect mode.

Well I'm beginning to think its not just my amp. PG is having a lot of problems with there amps. It don't help with the connections being internal. Makes it to easy for strands of wire to enter. I just got mine in May and it just quit.

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty . Remember to disconnect all power including ground for about to 1/2 hour to discharge capacitors. You might get lucky and get a reset.
.A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you.
Hi you may have moisture in your amp you should remove amp, then take top cover off of the amp and take a blow dryer and dry off the circuit board. dont get to close you dont want to melt anything in there if there is moisture you will see the board drying out.replace and see what happens i had this same problem and it worked for me.

DID YOU CHECK YOUR FUSES? Is there anything lighting up on it to see if it is in fact turning on? If it's lighting up and there is no protection lights lit up then check your speakers to make sure you didn't burn them up. If there is a protect LED lit then unhook your speakers and see if it stays lit or not. If it stays lit then check to make sure you're getting enough voltage at the amp connection, minimum of 11.0 volts is required just to get it to turn on. If it has under voltage and over voltage protection LEDs see if they're lit. If you do all of these things and are getting enogh voltage, your speakers are not burnt, your protection LEDs are lit no matter what then you need warranty repair that amp. If your speaker wires are shorted it will make your amp shut down also, but since you were using it for a day or so my bet is that you burnt up one of your speaker voice coils and it's internally shorted and that will cause your amp to shut down in protect mode. Otherwise you probably internally fried your amp by too low of voltage or not enough current (amperage) due to not large enough conductor (too small gauge wire) should be minimum of 8 Ga. for each amp, 2 amps will require 4 Ga, 3 or more will need 2 Ga, or 0 Ga. wiring to keep the voltage and current flow high enough to keep from damaging the amps. Good Luck!
What does it mean when the LEDs flash on my amplifier?
With most recently produced Phoenix Gold amplifiers, a
flashing/blinking LED is an indication that the unit is in protect mode,
usually due to an overcurrent condition caused by an internal short,
external short (speakers), or low impedance. Overheating will also
cause the amplifier to shut down temporarily.
If amplifier remains in protect mode, power down the amplifier,
disconnect the speakers, and power up again. If LEDs continue to flash,
there is probably an internal problem with the amplifier that will
require service attention to fix.
More than likely a blown output transistor. Phoenix can send you a schematic for that if you email their tech support. Be careful if you decide to work on it yourself.
1. (STEADY ON) - RUN THE POWER FROM THE AMP TO THE POSITIVE LED TERMINAL THE NEGATIVE CAN BE RAN FROM THE NEGATIVE SPEAKER TERMINAL.
2. (INTERMITTENT; COMES ONE EVERY TIME THE BASS HITS) - RUN THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE WIRES FROM THE + AND - TERMINALS TO THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE TERMINALS OF THE LED LIGHTS.
check the fuse between the battery and the amp. (not the fuse in the back of the amp). if that doesn't work then something on the inside of the amp is fried.
The LEd wires need a wire run from the speaker to the Fuse block in your car. The small Red wire from the LED will be the one that hooks to Swtiched 12 Volts supply on the fuse block so that your Led Turns on when you turn the keyswitch on. The Black wire goes to ground, or to a metal part of your cars body, probably the same point where your Amp is Grounded.
The Octane R10 is a Single Voice Coil or SVC.

Use 12 guage wire.
POWER LED KEEPS FLASHING. AMP HAS NO OUTPUT.
