Question about Mitsubishi WS-55859 55" Rear Projection Television

TV wouldnt turn off from remote or the actual tv. I unplugged it, plugged it back in. green light flashed and it stopped. now it wont turn on. Any help?

Check out the fuse it must be blown off.it is located on the main board internally.1 fuse.cost of new fuse is $1.

Hi,

It sound like the remote is powering off the cable box but not the TV. The remote control may need to be reprogrammed to the TV. When you press power it may only power off the Cable box. At that point, try pressing the TV button on your remote and then Power. If it does not power off the tV after pressing the tV button, the remote may need to be reprogrammed to the tv. Cable companies usually have the codes needed to program their remotes to the TVs.

Better late than never. The problem is that your TV is in the service mode. There are many ways this can happen. But, lets just get down to fixin this! With the original remote and the TV on. If the TV will not shut off, do this. Press the left cursor button on the remote, followed with pressing the right cursor. Power off the TV with remote, or press off button on TV.

Secondly, your TV will power on and off. But you have flashing colors. Do this. With the original remote and TV on. Press the up cursor button, on the remote, followed with pressing the down cursor. you have to put the television on and off (with the TV remote) . Have the same problem.

Solution is simple....

First, unplug power cable from the back of your TV. You will notice the flashing light is still flashing. Don't worry, go to the Second step.

Second, keep pressing on the POWER button, located on the panel at the top of your TV, to shut off your TV. This will stop the flashing light from appearing.

Third, Plug the power cable back onto your TV

Fourth, press the POWER botton ONCE, using the same button used in the Second step to turn your TV back on.

Fifth, you will see the POWER light comes on, as normal.

Sixth, using your remote control, press the green button to turn on. Your TV should work as normal.

My JVC AV-32FA44 wont turn on. the on timer light blinks. When i unplug it and plug it back in i get beeping (i stoped counting at 50 beeps) then it stops and the light just blinks.
