Re: my lg ku990 has yellow sreen
Iyourfatherl maybe this will work.
conect your phone with the usb port.
start in windows the program EFS MEDIA BUILDER by AKOM1976.
select connecton and after that you choose efs explorer select connection.
Now you see the files on your phone maye there is a folder named as TOTO
be sure that this folder is on your phone!!!
If it does delete the folder named as LGAPP
after that rename the folder named TOTO to LGAPP
richt click and choose refresh.
now exit the efs program.
Turn your phone off and then after a few seconds on
the phone will startup normaly as always and its normal asual.
I hope this will work or you have to back up with the LGMDP euro
an after that choose restore and choose the image file *.nv2
I have the same problem as urs...i was backing up then, and suddenly the yellow screen was there and it never returned to its normal...i used to do all of the techniques uve shown here..nut sadly, it didnt work at all..how am i supposed to do...i rename TOTO into LGAPP then refreshed it,then disconnected it..then restarted it..and same as before...its yellow refreshing mode again...pls help!

There is either a virus on the phone, or you have too many large files on the phone. This 2 might cause the phone to operate on a very slow mode or might be freezing.
When receiving or downloading a file, there might have been a virus on the file, and that can corrupt other files on the phone, including its firmware.
First of all, remove the battery and insert it back in, if it does the same, then try to flash the phone with the appropriate software. Remove the memory card and try to scard it with a computer or laptop using a memory card reader, then you check for the files if there are any viruses.
Also ensure you do not have too many files on the phone and the memory card in order for the phone to work at a high speed.
sounds like you need to reflash your phone back to it's original settings.
you'll need the following:-
LGMDP software - this allows you to flash the phones internal file system
'your specific network firmware'.DZ - this is lg's own firmware with the network settings in a .DZ file.
if you go to http://www.mygreatphone.com/forum/modifications-hacking/12356-ref-rollup-firmware-backups-hacks.html#post91633 all the info you need is in there. i could tell you all about it here but i'd just be repeating what's in the forum.
don't worry, it can be sorted
The CD that comes in the pack is does not work on Windows Vista. if you do not have Windows Vista, try to add the LG suite into your firewall (if you have one). You do that by goin into control panel and selceting firwall. Once done that go into setting then expectaions and then add a program. hope this helps.
I have the same problem. But i had solved it. I use a lighter to burn on my viewty's touch screen, and it is working properly again within 30 secs. And ofcourse, do not burn the touch screen without a screen protector. Hope this solution would help.
