Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
When I first started using the machine, I would fill the fabric softner and at the end of the full cycle the fabric softner and detergent spots would be empty. Now at the end of a full cycle when I try to do the next load of laundry the fabric softner spot is full of water. Why?
According to the whirlpool FAQ's page, that is normal. They stated that at the end of the cycle, fresh water is used to clean the detergent holders. Not sure that I believe them though.

It obviously is backed up or splashed in from the wash. And if it is just water why worry about it.

Yes, I think it is just water. The problem is, I have to take the dispenser out of the machine to empty the water. I don't have any room to put the fabric softner in. I shouldn't have to do this with a brand new, expensive washing machine. Any suggestions.
Thanks.
I'm having the same problem. Water is filling up the fabric softner section after the load is done so for the next load, I can't put any fabric softner in because of all the water, it start spilling out once I put the softner in. It's backed up I think from putting too much Tide in the wash cycle, how do I unplug it?
rinse cyle does not take down fabric softner and leaves water in compartments
compartment will not empty
