First I would try new batteries.
If that doesn't solve the problem the remote could be defective. This remote has a 90-day warranty and depending on where you purchased the remote, you can call 1-800-654-8483 option 4 for their tech support/warranty replacement department or email [email protected].
Hope this was helpful!

Try to replace your fuel pump relay. If that doesn\'t work, replace the spark plugs. If that doesn\'t work, replace your high tension leads with boogie cords.
If you have a universal remote but dont have the codes or the codes dont work then what you can try is to scan all the frequencys using the remote to manually scan to work for your telly or other equipment your trying to control.
Follow these simple instructions
1. Turn on the device you want the control to control ie the tv or dvd or stereo etc
2. You need to now press and hold the button for the device you want to control and also the power button untill the light on the remote stays on( for this case we are going to program it to control a tv) so press and hold the tv button and power button hold them down untill the light stays on
3. press the play button once every 5 seconds( a bank of 10 codes is being sent every time you press the play button)
4. when it turns the tv off wait press the rewind/reverse button and check it turns the telly back on if it does then you need to hold the stop button untill the light goes off.
Once you have done this check the remote is working properly ie changing channels ets if it dont work properly then follow the instructions again and try again you may need to do this a few times till it gets the right signal
I had this same problem and it was due to their instructions which do not adequately explain the setup procedure.
On my own, I was successful in programming volume up but that was all. I assumed that for volume down I would hold the power button and the VOLUME DOWN button and wait for the flashing light just as I had for volume up. Problem is, you never get a flashing light.
Today, I spoke with a rep from Boston Acoustics who patiently explained that step one of the instructions has to be done the same way each time as it is the step that puts the soundbar into programming mode.
It is only at step 2 that things change.
The solution is to hold the power button and the Volume Up button every time in order to get the system into programming mode. Once the light is flashing, in order to program Volume Down, you then hold the Volume Down button until the light goes solid. Once the light goes solid, then press the volume down button on your remote 4 times slowly. Works like a charm.
Works the same way to program the mute button. Follow step one to get the unit in programming mode. Once the light is flashing, hold down only the mute button until the light goes solid. When the light goes solid, press the mute button slowly 4 times.
OBTW, this was programmed with a Logitech Harmony 650 remote unit.
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS you can load failsafe defaultsor load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart or During the boot process tap thef8 button three times this will boot into safe mode where the only things working will be your mouse and keyboard enabling you to attempt to repair your computer Also you might try Turn Off the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10 key,ie: Alt+F10, it will open the recovery console ,select full factory restore and follow on screen instruction. (Note:this will erase all datas on the computer) hope this helps
Have you tried "resetting" the ps3 with it hooked up to your hdmi port? When the ps3 is in standby (red light), hold the power button to power it on, however, dont let go, keep hold the button down for 5 or so seconds until you hear a beep again, let up and wait about 15 seconds and it should detect the hdmi port.
Auto Setup automatically searches for the right code for
your DVD player. For the most popular DVD player models, Auto-Setup takes a few
minutes or less, however, less-common models can take much longer or this
method may not work at all.
Find the Auto-Setup instruction page
in the on-screen Setup Guide. Your DVD player must be on the
Auto-Setup instructions for this method to work properly.
Engage Auto-Setup mode: Hold down
the Red button until the setup light turns off. Continue holding the Red
button and press the Yellow button three times, then release both buttons.
If you’ve done this correctly the light will turn back on and remain on
until setup mode is exited. When the setup light remains on, the
controller is in setup mode.
Wait for a message from your DVD
player. Even though you can’t see anything happening, the controller
is actually loading and testing various codes. When the right code is
found, your DVD player will tell you to press the Home button. If your
player doesn’t respond within about 10 Minutes or the time on the estimate
chart, press the Home button to exit this method, and use the Direct Entry
method instead.
When the DVD player instructs you to
press the Home button, be sure to do so before the onscreen timer runs
out. If you miss pressing the Home button before the timer runs out,
go ahead and wait until a message from the DVD tells you what to do. If
you have not yet pressed the Home button, the DVD will instruct you to
press the Back button to back up to the code you missed.
1. press and hold setup button until the red light stays on.
2. press and release the desired mode button (example t. v.) the light will blink and then stay on.
3. enter one of the 4digit codes.
note: if the code is valid the light will turn off if it flashes it is an invalid code.
4. with the device on press the channel up and down. if the remote only controls some of the functions try another code.
CODES: 0049,0097,0110,0004,0268,0012,0108,0180
If none of the the codes work try following these steps:
1.manually turn on the t.v. 2.press and hold the setup button. 3. press and release the tv button the light will blink once and then stay on. 4.press the channel button repeatedly up to 300 times until the device changes channels. the light will blink and then stay lit. 5. press and release the mute button to store the code the light will go off.

Just had this problem with the 'please wait' - go into the admin setup and select Reboot Phone - it then works!
If it is still on, hold down the power button for about 15 seconds; that should turn it off. Try turning it on again. If it still does not work, turn it off by holding power for 15 seconds, then on again like this:
- Put hold on
- Hold record
- Press power on
This will start recovery mode, follow on-screen instructions. Hope all goes well!!
