My wifes parents used to own one. She thinks you pull table top off pole and pull pole out and lay table on existing lip and make bed using table as bed board. hopefully this helps
there is no correct height, the table should be adjustable so you can make it lower for small people and higher for big people. when operating, obviously put it wherever is comfortable for the surgeon
