My television will not turn on, the white light on the bottom scrolls for a minute then stops on red power symbol, then will blink on light bulb symbol, what is the problem i have had this tv for only a year
I had this issue, unplug the unit for 30 minutes, let it re-set. Plug it back in and see if that fixes it. If not, then your bulb is bad.... I have one right now that is not even 2 years old and it needs anew bulb.

Unplug the tv from all devices and unplug from the wall power source. After about 15 minutes, plug ONLY the power cord back in and see if it turns on. If not, than you will need to do a factory reset. With the tv pluged into ONLY the wall outlet ( no cable, DVD or internet connection) Hold the UP arrow on the remote than press and release the POWER button on the tv. This will reset everything and the blinking red light should stop. At this point you should be able to turn the TV on and off.

Check the lamp door (with green on) ,.. both green and red blink - bad lamp. Green off, red blinks..Try unpluging for 2 minutes and retry - if no different (sorry, call a service person).
