Hi I have a Sony KV-24LS35U tv which was working perfectly until the other day when I went to turn it on but couldn't. It makes a clicking sound like its trying to turn on but instead the stand by light flashes green and blinks 11 times in a row. I have no picture and no sound. Any ideas on why this why this has happened and is it feasibly fixable?
Any advise welcome
Many thanks in advance

Re: Sony KV-24LS35U green light flashing 11 times
The Sony error codes go up to 7, so when the standby light flashes 11 times it usually means that one of the clock or data lines deep inside the set is shorted to ground. This is not fixable from the front or through the remote, so the set should be serviced by a qualified tech familiar with Sony sets.

Did you get your set fixed or did you replace it? My same set did the same thing. Turned it off for 2-3hrs after watching it and when I tried to power it up- nothing but the sound it would normally make just before the major power up, sort of a relay click sound. No picture or sound but the red light blinks non-stop.
I have had my Sony KV-32FV15 for about 2 years now and nothing has ever gone wrong(even going through several moves.) I recently moved again and when I plugged in the TV, you can hear the sound perfectly but the screen just stays black. You can not even hear the squeal that the TV makes when comming on. Is there anything that I should initially look at to troubleshoot. I cannot afford at this time the $250 fee to repair my TV. I look forward to your input and hopefully I can get this TV working again.
intermittent problems can usuall be liked to bad solder connections. And sony typically has some that will develop after a few years in the power supply. so check for bad sodler connections throught the main board & give a close look to the power supply & check you work after to make sure you have no shorted pins.
