Sony KV-24LS35U green light flashing 11 times

Hi I have a Sony KV-24LS35U tv which was working perfectly until the other day when I went to turn it on but couldn't. It makes a clicking sound like its trying to turn on but instead the stand by light flashes green and blinks 11 times in a row. I have no picture and no sound. Any ideas on why this why this has happened and is it feasibly fixable? Any advise welcome Many thanks in advance Lesley

The Sony error codes go up to 7, so when the standby light flashes 11 times it usually means that one of the clock or data lines deep inside the set is shorted to ground. This is not fixable from the front or through the remote, so the set should be serviced by a qualified tech familiar with Sony sets.

I WOULD CALL SONY AGAIN.

Changed lamp and TV won't turn on, power light flashes 3 times

Hi,
Red light blinking 3 times shows problem with lamp cover.
Lamp cover is not fixed securely in your tv after lamp replacement. Lamp cover is first thing that was removed to replace lamp, check lamp cover and make sure its back in place properly.

HI, Our Sony t.v. was working perfectly and then all of a sudden I went to turn it on and the screen was black. The standby light flashes 4 times but that is all. No sound, no picture, nothing.

it is power supply problem it need to handle professionally, you must contact your nearest Sony Service Center.

TV switch light flickers 11 times but no function

Hopefully it is only a board component that needs replacing and your dry joints that need re-doing. I would advise that you take it to a television repair shop as this type of repair can be very complex (replacing resistors and capacitors just to name a few).

The vertical output IC has failed/Power to the vertical IC is out/ or there is bad solder on the pins of the vertical output IC.

Sony trinitron wont turn on.

these sets have a flyback problem, the cure is usually replacement.
If you are unable to replace one, then you will require a technition.

Most likely the flyback assembly, and or the horizontal output transistor failed. There is also a possiblity of some other faults that are putting the power supply in to the protect mode.

If there is a scan failure, it is possible that there is also some damage in the power supply.

The set will have to be serviced by a TV service tech.

The 4 blinks indicate the problem circuit, but I need the model number to give you the specifics. The category you entered is KV-36fs120 which is a 36 inch set. Please update this with the model number. It should be on the back.
