Have a sony dcr- trv6 mini dv camcoder. when i turn it on it beeps and shows c:31:30 on the lcd display screen. i tried a new battery,tapes, and keeping the door open for hours. and i use the reset button. it still does not work. HELP ME! thank you.
The capstan motor of your camera is stuck up....check the capstan motor is there is some debris insert at the sensor...if nothing you find check also the bushing at the upper part of the motor....

This is a common failure in this model and unfortunately will not be resolved without a qualified servicer. The error code indicates a message for lack of reel motion. Most often it is an electronic connection problem and not an actual reel problem. Good luck, magic seadog

tried unplugging and leaving open than turn on,slides out but does not pop tape up
