A computer running Windows 95 WILL NOT RUN Windows XP in most cases. Post all of your hardware details and we can explore that further.

Most programs that run on Windows 95 WILL NOT RUN under Windows XP easily. There are some compatibility things you can try for each one, but most simply will crash, and some will seem to work for a while then crash at inopportune moments.

What you should do is buy an newer computer with Windows XP, remove your current hard drive, and put your current hard drive as a second drive in the new computer. You will have access to your documents, but your programs will not run.

How do u go back to the correct os ? I have put win 8.1 - 64 through and tried custom install and all 3 drive 0 partition 1, 2 & 3 are saying windows can't be installed Because this might contain important...

I'd try to "start over" without "custom install" .
If this is an "upgrade" You must have a "legal" previous Window's product on the Hard drive, and the associated Product key. Otherwise, you will need the complete Win8.1 product with its product key. I've did an 8.1 upgrade to a winXP product. I probably had to read the instructions a number of times and it's been a while. Good luck.

RES.SIR, PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO ADD(INSTALL) THE MISSING FILES OF OPERATING SYSTEM TO RUN WINDOWS PROPERLY,WITHOUT FORMATTING CONCERN DRIVE.PLS PROVIDE THE PROPER PROCEDER. THANK YOU.

Hi

Use the OPERATING SYSTEM CD/DVD to run the REPAIR MODE.

REPAIRING THE OPERATING SYSTEM just load or install corrupted or missing files from your operating system thus will not delete any of your files from your computer.

Please rate and make a comment if you find this solution very helpful and might help others as well. Post more comments if you need more help.

Cannot connect my MT6225 china phone to my laptop thro the USB. what can i do?

hello, u may have to download the proper drivers plus data manager software from the manufacturers homepage,
they have to fit vista!

if there are just ones for winxp or lower win/versions available, either try connecting phone to a winxp/interent-pc and go through driver-install and so on
or think about downgrading your system to win-xp professional!

win vista is fine but not as reliable as winxp/pro!

good luck

Booting slow in os

You need to edit the Boot.ini file to do that.

Here's a link that will guide you on how to remove those extra boot options:
