When I print a document from my PC directly to the Canon Imagerunner 5000, the settings (i.e. stapling, hole punching, etc.) do not take. They seem to disappear as soon as I leave the Properties screen.
What type of driver are you using? Postscript or PCL? Are you printing over TCIP port or a direct connection like a USB? Are there any updates for the Imagerunner since you bought it? They release updates like microsoft releases updates. Also what type of operating system do you have?

I doubt it's the copier, sounds more like a application or board problem, my first suggestion would be to re-install the driver. the other would be to target the hard drive or memory/ mother board of the network of the copier
HI
You go to you printer properties(you will find it if you right click on the printer driver under printers and faxes in the controll panel),select printing prefrences, page setup, there is a option for landscape printing.Next to page setup is the finnisher settings, select the stapler option.
