After starting the wash cycle, the washing machine runs for about 2 or 3 minutes then the display reads LE and it beeps and stops running.
My machine recently displayed the LE code. When I ran the machine, it sounded like something was grinding. The drum would sometimes spin and sometimes it wouldn't. I called service and they replaced the stator and now it works fine.

Unplug machine to reset, give it a few minutes! All you need is: Vinegar and Red wine. Run hot water cycle with a cup of white vinegar to remove any sludge you might have from build-ups! Clean Filter located down below front. After success drink Red wine! :)

Unplug the machine and spun the drum few times by hand, wait 10-15 min. and plug it back. Good luck!

Hi
The 'LE' error message indicates the control
board has detected that the motor is either not turning, or has locked up for
some reason. Monitoring the motor is the job of the hall effect sensor board
which constantly determines the direction and speed of the motor and feeds that
information back to the control board. If there is a problem between what the
motor should be doing and what the hall effect sensor says the motor is doing,
the 'LE' will be displayed and the cycle will be stopped.
This error can sometimes present because of a miscommunication between the
control panel and the wash motor. In this instance, the washer simply needs to
be reset.
Step 1: Unplug the washing machine.
Step 2: While the washer remains unplugged,
press and hold the [Start/Pause] button on the front panel for 5 seconds.
Step 3: Plug the unit back in, and run a rinse and spin cycle to test if the LE
code is cleared.
Please get back to us if you have further
query or else please accept the solution.

Motor lock can be caused by several things from a loose connector, to a bad motor, or even the hall effect sensor failing or dislodging from it's mount. Any one or more of these components could have caused this error.
