Display Any fix for a blank display?

no display on pro 95 unit was dropped. tried reset button on left side of unit,Still no display. Does radio shack do repairs?

Try to set the contrast also did you drop the scanner it just went blank? give more details

yes as far as i know they do repairs probably a cracked pc board by the display section

There are two things related to this issue.The LCD might damage or the Display IC (filter) may damage.The only thing you can do is to change the LCD it is not so difficult.But if the ICs are damage you need to contact mobile repairing shop.Thanks for visiting fixya

Nokia 6500 slide display 4900 problem

Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.

TH-79A Blank screen. It works with "F-switch on" but then goes blank.

Happened to me too. It takes some disassembling!!!! Between the screen and the underlying circuit board is a rubber strip with conductive material throughout which provides ''ground' for the display. This rubber wears out over time, but the quick fix is to turn it a quarter after cleaning and treating the contact surface with 'contact spray'( sparsely!!).

Job requires steady hand and pincers.

Blank white display on Nokia 3230

This is a major fault, screen gets blank white because of some problem in its display panel which is right behind the LCD screen. Rush to the nearest Nokia care centre and explain the problem to them.After the repair if you experience this problem again and your phone is within the warranty period you can demand a brand new box piece!
