Oreck m900 will not dispense any water. this is the first time it has been used.

maybe the power supply is broken or something because of over use or over charge or because of water got into it
just get the mobile over to the manufacturer and he will replace it for you

You seem to have a clog in your pump. It is possible that left over soap and minerals from your water have brought your machine to a stop. I would go into the pump it self , and clean out any obstructions, then check all your feed lines for the same. I believe that going into your pump and cleaning inside will solve your problem. I don't believe that the bearings have a place to oil them. As for the machine being worth the time, I think yes. Orecks are used extensively by hotels, and are noted for their reliability, longevity and weight.

I thought my Oreck upright vacuum was broken because the bag wouldn't stay on. Even worse, when the bag popped off, I couldn't figure out how to get it back on. There was no satisfy 'click' or any other indication that the bag was installed properly. A good percentage of the time, it wasn't actually installed properly, and the dirt just collected in the space between the bag and the bag holder. (The easiest way to recover from this messy situation was to vacuum out the Oreck with another vacuum! When I do this, I can't help but think how embarrassed the Oreck must feel to be humilated in this manner . . .)

Anyway, after a trip to the Oreck dealer to purchase a replacement part for what I thought must surely be a broken bag-holder assembly, I now know that it's the design itself that is defective. After all the money we paid for the Oreck, my wife won't let me get rid of it. So I just use the cannister vac we got for free with the upright and spot vacuum instead. (I'm seriously thinking about breaking something inside the Oreck so my wife will let me throw it out and get a new vaccuum. We bought a new vacuum recently to use at our vacation cabin for a fraction of the price and it's a joy to use compared to the Orec - it was a Consumer Rerports "Best Buy".)

First, tested tank and filter flow together using suction via
plastic tubing. Worked freely Second, removed pump
and disconnected hoses and terminals [watch location,
three terminals on pump, two plugs]. Pump has a slug inside
and I could blow water either way. Sucked white vinegar
both ways until check action returned. Use distilled water
in future!

How do you clean the "bagless dirt cup" for my Oreck Cordfree Electrik Broom? I do not have an instruction manual since it was given to me.

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
The best way to clean a dirt cup is to wash it with soap and water and dry it thoroughly so that there is not water or moisture, do NOT however get the filter wet because it will lose filtration and the best way to clean the filter is to brush off the dirt, wipe off the dirt on the filter, or replace the filter id dust and dirt are getting through, other wise wash the cup only with soap and water. Also contact your local vac dealer or Oreck Store in your area or the Oreck factory @ the number listed below t get a new owner’s manual. So feel free to contact your local vac dealer.
