Usually when this happens, you have to go into the menu and do another channel search (auto search) or scan, but make sure you have all your cable, wires hooked up properly. Check the cable between the monitor and the box for damage.
Try a new cable.
It may be a problem with the input board but it sounds like a cable problem.
