resetting the combination is only practical if the suitcase is open as the reset tab is located inside where it cannot be tampered with when locked.
if it is a set of dials lock a locksmith could help you.

The default combination of new lock is always 000..If you forgot the correct combination, it is not possible to reset it.

VIP provides assistance if you forgot your combination code. If this is not an option, first try all the combination, 000, 001 etc. Birth dates, last/first three digits of your phone number, car number etc. If this is not an option either, take it to the luggage seller, they can break the lock. If everything else fails, then you need to cut it open.
