WHERE CAN I FIND AN ORIGINAL REMOTE FOR MY TP55F80?

The problem is probably that one or both of the STK convergence chips have failed. These control the convergence coils around the red blue and green guns and are the most common cause of sudden convergence problems and the protection circuit shutting the TV down when turned on.

I can post details of how I replaced these on my Toshiba 40WH08B. Yours should be similar.

Tp55f80 tv. to much red on screen

You have a convergence failure. It may be possible to simply re-solder the pin connections under the convergence output ICs as they have a tendency to develop cold solder joints which cause intermittent mis-convergence. If the solder connections are good, then replacment of the ICs will be necessary. Expect to pay $350-450 to have a toshiba servicer fix this.

Red Screen with Vertical Concave Lines

Check the transistors and resistors on the CRT socket circuit board itself. Also try turning down the red drive a little this may eliminate the lines.

check the convergence chips for bad solders or even the crt sockets, I would lean more on the ic's and surrounding area.
