Probably yuh damged your psp battery port or your battery's dont work eany more.. I had almost the exact same problem but it worked the very next day.

Oh ok,,, have you made sure the battery are fully charged?
Have you tried to take the battery out and pluging in the charger (with the battery out not on) and try to turn it on and it shoult atleast turn on with the charger,.'?
Try to switch the power switch up fast and it could turn back on if it dont it could be the psp that is damaged and youll probably have to open up your psp

Well,, go to a flea market or gamestop,, but idk,, becouse it could be the psp that broke,, you havnt wet it or droped it multipel times
Would it be expensive when I fix it?
It depends where you leav,, im not sure but it could be a lil expensive
