Getting HP2600n to print from MacBookPro first generation
I have tried multiple fixes, but so far nothing works
The 2600n prints perfectly from my business partners 2nd generation intel mac - and mine sees it and says its printing to it - but all I get is a completed print job - nothing actually prints
Anyone have any ideas???

try checking cable if you have another cable try that after rebooting computer! if that doesnt work go to hp's website look up the units driver for the correct operating system reinstall the drivers from hp's website then reboot and try your printer again it should work! 99.9 percent of time error printing to queue is a communication problem from the driver being corrupt or a error in your system registry.
First check the cartridge and make sure all of them are working properly, do check the cartridge interface to the printer, even a tiny dust can create this problem. Reinstall the driver. I hope you can install the driver to your system. Check the usb cable, if possible, try with another cable. Reset the printer settings to factory default. Good luck
bill's issue is that the drivers need to be reinstalled on his computer. sadia's issue could be drivers, paper size settings, media type, memory, mechanical issues, supply issues, application issues, but because of the vagueness of the query it is almost impossible to nail it down. please be more specific. the more detail you can relay, the more help you will receive. Good Luck!
