We moved today. The TV was never dropped. It worked fine before. Now the TV won't turn on using the power button. You hear a click sound, then the red light comes on, two blinks and a pause, then two blinks. This cycles over and over. What does this mean? What can I expect to pay for repair? Is this something I can possibly fix myself?
The blinks can tell you the problem , is it 4 blinks that could be 3 different ics IC1509 Q1505 or IC502

The clicking sound is by the power ON/OFF relay. It is controlled by the power protection circuit. When an excessive current is detected, it shuts down the relay and turns the set off to avoid any further damage to the set as protection. Something is causing this condition. Sony has a self diagnostic built in TV sets and it is manifest in the blinking of the standby light. If the timer/standby indicator is blinking, this could be an indication of the problem with the unit. TWO time Blinks indicates that the DC Main Supply (B+)has gone to over current protection (OCP) , TV goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits. Sure this will help you to get the fault rectified.

You have to check with each code, until you find which code sets for your TV

programming TVcontrol
The Comcast Digital Adapter remote control is pre-programmed at the factory to operate the Digital Adapter. The Comcast Digital Adapter remote also contains a universal TV library to allow you to control the Power and Volume of your TV.
1. Turn on the TV
NOTE: Please read steps 2 to 4 completely before proceeding. Highlight or write down the codes and device you wish to program before moving on to step 2.
2. Press and hold SETuntil the Red Light blinks twice, then release SET.
3. Locate the code for your device in Manufacturer's Codes on the back of this user guide. Brands are listed in alphabetical order with the most popular codes listed first.
4. Enter the first five-digit code for your TV. If you perform this procedure correctly, the Red Light will blink twice
NOTE: If you enter an invalid code, the red light will display one long blink and exit the programming mode. Repeat steps 2 to 5 with a valid code.
5. Aim the remote control at your TV and press Power once. The device should turn off. If it does not respond, repeat steps 2 to 4, trying each code listed for your brand until you find one that works. If it still does not work, try Searching For Your Code.
