We turned our model number LTV-27w2 tv on lastnight and it was flickering only on the right side of the screen now then went to black i turned it off and back on today and it has all kinds of small different colored lines on that side everything else is fine and the other side of the screen is normal!? any ideas?
Screen driver has failed on the screen, also known as the t-con board this controls the lcd screen, looks to me as its failed and just needs replacing depending on your location price is from £5 upwards in UK just make sure you replace the board with the same board as the original. t-con board is located on the back of the screen under the metal shield with the wires coming out going to the main av board 4 screws and 2- 4 clips on the board connecting the ribbons to the screen itself.

INSTALL IS PRETTY EASY REMOVE BACK COVER OF TV SNAP IT OFF MAIN SIGNAL BOARD IS ABOUT A FOOT LONG AND IS 8 INCHES WIDE THER ARE 4 PLUGS AT TOP AND 2 GROUNDS BOTTOM THERE ARE 4 AND 3 GROUNDS IT IS ON ITS OWN FRAME JUST REMOVE SCREWS AND PLUG IN. THERE ARE 2 BOARDS MAKE SURE YOU GET ONE THAT WORKS USE YOUR SERIAL NUMBER FROM TV WHEN ORDERING

As for a remote, you can use a universal remote and program it for the TV. You can also contact Westinghouse and order a remote, but it might be more costly when compared the to universal remote option.

T-CON board, check the connections between the T-CON and the Main LOGIC board first (very rarely to be the logic board but not 100% for sure).
