Door not locking and program reverting straight to end

Not sure if you mean when it is fully off or operating, but if you mean that once it is operating the door won't open, then the following applies...

Once a front loader wash cycle starts, the door on a front loader is physically (electronically) locked until the full cycle ends after spin dry. This is to prevent anyone opening the door and letting all the water out in the middle of the wash cycle, which a lot of people try to do to put in more clothing etc.

You're start/pause button should pause the cycle, cancell should completely cancell. After pressing the Start/Pause within a cycle, the door lock may require time to unlock as indicated by the lock light on the panel.

Turn program selector to "off". Turn selector to Drain or Spin. Press the start / pause. Wait until program ends. Open door.
OR
Press "start / pause" until the start / pause light flashes.

OR

First, unplug the machine and turn off the water supply. On the lower right of the front panel is a 6" / 15mm cover. Near the bottom of this cover is a small hole. Insert a piece of wire into this hole, and push in gently. While pushing, turn the cover clockwise, it will came off.
The door release is a narrow white plastic strip hanging down on the right; Pull down on this strip while pushing in on the door, the door lock will release.

Disconnecting the wires from the main PCB helped resolve half the problem, but the machine still does not rinse and spin. Unless programmed manually. Still, that's easily done at the end of a wash cycle. Is liveble.

Reading Error Codes 1. Wake the washer by pressing any button. 2. Wait 5 seconds. 3. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. let me know what code come up.

It sounds like a door switch fault see if the end light and the start/pause light are flashing count the flashes if end flashes 4 times and the start/pause once or maybe more this could be error 41, door switch fault.A door switch would cost about $ 20 but there may still be a problem with the main Programmer.

Are you able to open the door ?if so door interlock switch could be at fault

Try some WD40 on the door lock on machine (not on the door) & open and close a few times. Of course the mains plug should be off the wall socket.

The error message "Err" usually indicates that the wash program and option are not compatible. 40 degrees and 900 rpm Spin should be o.k.. I would try another wash program with no special options and see if the problem goes away.
