Blue light comes on when computer starts but then goes right to yellow. no picture
That will happen if the monitor isn't getting a video signal from the computer. Are you sure your computer is actually starting up properly? Are you hearing the normal Windows startup sounds? If the computer and Windows seem to be working properly, the video card or integrated video may have failed. Have you tried another monitor to verify that the computer is working?
If the monitor is in fact bad, it would be better to replace it than to try a repair. New LCD monitors are quite inexpensive and you'll gain lots of desk space.

figured it out about the same time I got your response. Thank you. It was my video card gone bad, had to switch to onboard video card and it started working. Thank you for the quick response. This is a great site. Keep up the good work.
